Great Grace Outreach Embassy Church Promotes Peace in Upper East Region

Great Grace Outreach Church, led by Reverend Emmanuel Mensah the Head Pastor and his team, has been a beacon of hope in the Upper East Region for 15 years. The church’s commitment to sharing the Word of God and serving the community has made a significant impact on the lives of the people.

Beyond spiritual guidance, the church has implemented various community development initiatives, including:

– Providing boreholes to ensure access to clean water
– Training youth in skill work to empower them for the future
– Organizing community events to promote peace and unity

In November 2024, the church organized a peace tournament in the Binduri district, bringing together 12 teams from 6 districts. The event was a huge success, with chiefs, queen mothers, and the people of Kusaug expressing gratitude for the church’s efforts to promote peace in the region.

On May 7th, 2025, the church and its committee met with coaches from Garu, Pusiga, Binduri, Tempane, Bawku, and Zebilla to discuss plans for another peace tournament. This year’s tournament will target U-17 teams, providing a platform for young people to come together and promote peace through sports.

By focusing on U-17 teams, the church aims to empower the next generation with values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and peaceful coexistence. This initiative has the potential to shape the future of the region and promote lasting peace.

The people of the region appreciate the church’s efforts to bring them together and promote peace. Great Grace Outreach Church’s initiatives serve as a model for community-led peacebuilding efforts.
