The family of Seidu Mohammed Akugri, the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Manager for Bongo District, who was brutally killed and set ablaze in his vehicle, are demanding justice for their loved one. The incident has sparked widespread outrage and concern in the community.

In relation to the incident, Azimbe Aruk Simon, a youth leader, has expressed worry over the military escorting Mamprusis into Bawku without thoroughly searching their goods. He is calling for a more rigorous search of items being escorted into Bawku by the military, suggesting that this could help prevent such incidents in the future.
Meanwhile,in a press conference held today at Nangodi, the Nangodi youth strongly condemned the killing of Mr. Akugri and disassociated themselves from the act. They expressed their outrage and sadness over the incident and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
The community is still reeling from the shock of the incident, and there is a strong demand for justice and an end to such violent acts. The investigation into the murder is ongoing, and the community awaits the outcome, hoping that the perpetrators will be held accountable.
