Former president John Dramani Mahama declared in a caustic letter to party officials and members that anyone wishing to work in his administration would have to vow loyalty to transparency and accountability.
Speaking to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Campaign Tour in the Greater Accra Region, Mahama made it clear that, should he be elected to lead the nation after the elections on December 7th, he would not put up with corruption.
Mahama emphasized his will to make sure that no official in his administration would partake in corrupt practices.

He emphasized that in order to collaborate with him, people must first be prepared to keep the greatest moral standards.
“Before you accept to work with me come 2025, you must, first of all, agree to be accountable and transparent with the good people of Ghana,” Mahama asserted.
The former president emphasized that accountability and openness will be given top priority during his administration, restating his position that anyone caught indulging in corrupt activities would not be exempt from the law.
“I have promised Ghanaians that I’m going to be transparent and accountable if they give me the mandate,” he stated, “so I will not shield or allow someone who is not ready to be accountable to the people to serve under my government.”
