As you are aware, promotions within the Ghana Education Service are crucial for motivating and retaining quality educators thus ensuring continuous improvement of the quality of education teachers provide to our learners.
I am writing to you to bring to your attention the challenges teachers are facing in checking their promotion results due to cumbersome process and the need to urgently do something about it.
I am deeply concerned about the difficulties teachers are experiencing in checking their promotion results due to cumbersome and inefficient process.
This has caused frustration among teachers since last night as those who wrote the promotion exams were anxious to know their status before going to bed.
Many teachers can’t retrieve their passwords and the SMS portion provided to enable them pay Ghc 5 so as to change their passwords is equally not working.
There is therefore, the need to simplify and streamline the result-checking process because the current one is frustrating.
I urge the Minister of Education to take immediate action to address these concerns and processes initiated to put teachers who are successful on their rightful levels.
