The CEO of Literacy Ambassadors Ghana, Mr Mathias Tulasi has indicated that the Volta Region needs a regional minister with a burning passion for development.

Let me use this opportunity to once again congratulate HE John Dramani Mahama on the landslide victory in the recently held general elections.
As, he is putting his team in place to spearhead a progressive Ghana through collective efforts, it is important to state that the Volta Region needs a Regional Minister with a burning passion for development and hence the need for the President to be humbly guided in his choice.
It is evident based on the interactions with the indigens of the Volta Region especially among the youths, a call for the new Volta Regional Minister to carry an uncommon trait-anger for development.
In their considered view, that should be the unique requirement for whoever His Excellency the President will select to lead the region.
Someone who is noted for his or her unwavering dedication to the betterment of the people in the region and a person with a deep-seated anger, not towards the people, but towards the lack of progress and opportunities that hindered their growth.
Someone with the driving force for change. Who will work assiduously and roar like thunder at bureaucratic obstacles, corruption, and inefficiencies that will stand in his or her way of development as far as the Volta Region is concerned so as to ignite a joyful flame within the hearts of the people.
The one under whose leadership our roads will be fixed, schools improved, healthcare services will be expanded, Airport operationalize, factories built, agriculture and tourism promoted, youths are supported to further their education and to go into entrepreneurship etc.
By so doing, the Minister’s anger will fuel relentless efforts to combat poverty and to empower the marginalized in the region.
Someone who will not rest until every corner of the Volta Region feels the touch of progress because it takes a burning passion for change to ignite the flames of progress and bring about a better tomorrow.
