An Open Letter to the ECG Boss

Dear Sir,

I bring you greetings from my abode.

I am writing to express concern as a concerned citizen about your outfit’s recent announcement regarding the one-month top up of credit for metres ahead of your so called dubious system upgrade.

Your intention behind this initiative is not genuinely to provide relief to your customers.

This you equally know, may not be feasible to all your customers.

If you have forgotten or living on a different planet, let me remind you that many Ghanaians in recent times struggle to make ends meet, and that the one-month credit top up may not be a realistic option for them.

If your intention for the so called upgrade is genuine, the best your outfit can do is to credit your customers for them to pay later.

I respectfully request that your outfit consider alternative solutions that cater for the diverse needs of its customers and not this insensitive approach you are about adopting.

It is essential for your outfit to engage with its customers and understand their challenges and pains so as to develop more inclusive and compassionate policies instead of this inhumane approach considering the economic mess we are in as a nation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Mathias Tulasi
