Mr Mathias Tulasi, the CEO of Literacy Ambassadors Ghana has fired back at Dr Gideon Boako concerning his comment on taxies.
His full statement below
It is shocking to note, Dr. Gideon Boako, a former aide to Dr. Bawumia, has thrown shade at HE John Dramani Mahama’s administration, suggesting that they need guidance from the NPP on how to scrap taxes like the E-levy and Betting Tax.
This his statement implies the NPP has expertise in this area.
Is he talking about the very NPP that destroyed businesses and collapsed the economy that led to their abysmal performance in the recently held general elections?
I can’t figure out the specific strategies or policies they have implemented for the good eight years that would be worth emulating.
The fact of the matter is that President John Dramani Mahama doesn’t need advice from Dr. Gideon Boako and his likes on scrapping the E-Levy etc.
President John Dramani Mahama has the expertise and experience to handle tax policies and as contained in the very party manifesto that brought him to power by the help of discerning Ghanaians.
Dr. Gideon Boako’s advice is unnecessary and possibly unwelcome. He should rather focus on entreating his boss the former Vice President Dr Bawumia to put his documents together so as to meet the ORAL team concerning issues of PDS instead etc.
