MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR TALENSI CONSTITUENCY BEGINS HIS THANK YOU TOUR

 

The Member of Parliament for the Talensi Constituency, Hon. Daniel Dung Mahama, toured his constituency to thank his constituents.

The tour started on Friday, March 21, and continued on Saturday, March 22, 2025. During his tour, the MP and the Constituency Executives visited some communities: Yalle, Duusi, Kpangoog, Yamgzoak, Yameriga, Tindongo, Kpal, Kpatia, Gbee, and Tongo-Beo. The purpose of the tour was to express his heartfelt gratitude to the constituents for their support during the 2024 general elections.

Hon. Mahama took the opportunity to reiterate the party’s campaign promises. He highlighted that many of the promises, including stress-free tuition fees, the Women’s Development Bank, Free Apprenticeship, the removal of the Betting Tax, and the E-levy, among others, have already been incorporated into the John Mahama administration’s maiden budget.

He assured the constituents that they would begin to see the benefits of their votes once Parliament approves the budget. Additionally, he noted that the implementation of the Big Push, outlined in the 2025 budget, will also lead to infrastructural development within the constituency.

As part of his parliamentary duties, Hon. Mahama also informed the communities that he is actively working to address the water challenges in underserved areas. He assured the communities that work on new boreholes would begin soon.
