Following the president’s nominations of the DCE in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) as amended, they are now subject to approval by the respective District Assembly members. The youth and the good people of Pusiga remain confident that the president’s nomination for Pusiga is in the right direction for resetting the country and addressing the problems of Pusiga.
Here are some of the youth’s functions released to congratulate the president’s nominee, Hon. Aguri Haruna Abdul-Rahim. He has been the Assembly member for the Ninkogo electoral area for 12 years, is a professional teacher, and serves as the Constituency Organizer for the NDC party in the Pusiga constituency in the Upper East Region.
