Responsible bush burning can be achieved by farmers, ensuring that they have cleared out the boundaries of bushes to prevent the fire from spreading. Additionally, one should stay close to the burning bushes with materials to quench the fire, so that in case it travels to unintended places, it can be extinguished. Furthermore, one should know and have the contact information for the Fire Service on standby. People who cook on their farms, smokers who drop small pieces of lighted cigarette stubs, and those who hunt for animals with fire and smoke should all ensure that they have completely extinguished their fires when they are done to prevent possible fires.
